Goa Photography

Here are some of my clicks from my recent trip to Goa.  Hope you like them.  To view a better resolution, click on it to view it in Flickr.
Sorry for a pathetic layout and size.  Normally I post to WordPress directly from the Flickr Set.  Since Flickr discontinued the WordPress Share option, after a lot of googling, this is pretty much the only way I managed to find, to display a slideshow that works.  However, I have no control on its size.  I know there are enough plugins around, but it’s gonna take a bit of time to get it done.  In case you know a better alternative, I am all ears !  Cheers !!

Kerala Photography, a set on Flickr.

Random clicks during our trip to Alleppey and Kumarakom.  I was just fascinated by the backwaters, houseboats and everything that I saw around Vembanad lake that I couldn’t stop clicking.  I knew it was going to be an overdose of houseboats, but still, each one was so unique and beautiful that I did not want to miss.  Hope you like my clicks too.  The last few photos were clicked in Alleppey beach when we saw an awesome color on the sky.  The sunset was too beautiful.

Mahabalipuram, a set on Flickr.

I was there on a solo trip to click some pictures and that was achieved. Nothing out of the ordinary, just average. It could probably have a very historical background, I am not discounting that fact. I am just saying from a layman’s perspective. Also I should mention that the place was clean.
If you plan to visit Mahabalipuram, lets say the beach, tiger caves, etc etc, this is a must-see. Otherwise just for this, travel from Chennai is not worth it. People with extreme interest in history, sculptures can visit.
Photographers, better early or very late. A lot of schools arrange for excursion to this place and it can be crowded. Getting a shot without children in frame will be impossible 🙂
People on the way from Chennai to Pondicherry or vice versa can drop in for about an hour for a pleasant break.
Overall, just ordinary.
