Welcome Hotel, Purasawalkam

We had some work to finish in Purasawalkam and we didn’t expect it to drag until lunch time.  Since we were quite hungry by then, decided to eat at the first restaurant we spotted.  The first one was Hotel Saravana Bhavan, I let it pass.  Second one was Adayar Ananda Bhavan, let that pass too.  Third time’s a lucky charm they say, and sure it was! Spotted Welcome Hotel and stepped into it right away! Continue reading

Saravana Naattukkozhi Unavagam, Attur

Naattukozhi Unavagam, Mannpaanai Samayal, Chattikkari, these are terms used to refer to roadside South-Indian eateries on the highways in and around Salem, Erode and Namakkal districts in Tamil Nadu, a sort of a Dhaba you may say, but not Punjabi. Nasi Kandar Pelita

Ciclo Cafe

A couple of days ago, had to quickly meet a friend and the landmark he suggested was right in front of Ciclo Cafe. While waiting for him, I was wondering why didn’t I visit this place for so long ! So promoted it to the top of my wishlist and in a couple of days, managed to tick it off. Continue reading

Crimson Chakra

In spite of having taken a brief hiatus from food blogging, I just couldn’t hold back writing about this place.  It is probably about close to two months since I wrote a blog, though I have been eating out now and then. This particular dining experience at Crimson Chakra had to be documented, purely for the love of food. Continue reading
