The problem with the food groups on Facebook is that you continuously hear about ‘new’ restaurants everyday and the moment you spot one on the road, you invariably end up visiting that place. 😛 Continue reading
With new restaurants cropping up each day in almost every part of the city, I have been trying to write down the names of restaurants that I should visit at the first available opportunity. Considering the reviews and recommendations on a couple of food groups on Facebook, Jonah’s Bistro was in fact on the top of my list. After a hectic day at work, it was Friday evening and almost weekend, and a sudden decision to eat out and family was ready too. Jonah’s Bistro was obviously the first choice. Continue reading
This place has withstood the test of time and has been there for many years now. I was in Trichy for a Twenty years school reunion and most of my friends were of the opinion that we should eat once in Vijay Mess, in Alexandria Road, Cantonment. Continue reading

Daawat-a-Biryani is a name that is very popular in the food circles. I have been waiting to try their biryani for quite sometime and what better occasion than my daughter’s birthday !
Well, this was an unexpected twist in a CFG showcase 🙂
I did not know that this was a seafood showcase and since I do not eat seafood by choice, my only participation here was to click the pictures. Continue reading
Absolutely tasty food at Junior Kuppanna, Chrompet. I have heard about this place from a few friends, so decided to try this for a Sunday Lunch. Since we knew roughly where it was located, it was easy to spot the hotel. It is located in the same building as the Arasan Inn Hotel, just below the Pallavaram Flyover, accessible through the service lane. We were seven friends, classmates at school, and we were meeting some of them after about twenty years. Continue reading
